Healthy Living Festival
| | Di sposal and donation of unwanted pharmaceuticals at Oakland's 2010 Healthy Living FestivalOn Friday July 9th from 9am - 12 pm Teleosis is partnering with the United Seniors
of Oakland and Alameda County (USOAC) to offer free and safe pharmaceutical
disposal at the 2010 Healthy Living Festival. The Supporting Initiative to
Redistribute Unused Medicines (SIRUM) will help Teleosis identify which
medicines can be safely donated to community clinics. Click here to view instructions >> The Healthy Living Festival is an
annual health fair for seniors featuring health screenings and information on
community resources. The
event is being held at the Oakland Zoo and registered participants receive free

|  Come celebrate the success of Coastal Health Alliance's greening initiative
The Teleosis Institute has been working with Coastal Health Alliance (CHA), a community clinic in Pt. Reyes, CA., to create a more sustainable and efficient clinical environment. On July 10th, 2010 from 9am-2pm CHA is hosting the "Healthy
People, Healthy Communities" environmental health fair with the Point Reyes
Farmers Market at Toby's Feed Barn.
The "Healthy People, Healthy Communities" will bring together health
care providers, environmental health organizations, and the local community to
promote healthy living. There will be health screenings, interactive
classes on healthy cooking, nutrition, and exercise.
